Had a chance to check out a non-final version of HTC Sense 4.0 who have been told to expect its arrival on upcoming HTC devices like the HTC Ville and HTC Edge.
First and foremost we’re told to look out for an emphasis on improved typography and a reduction of the visual clutter that has plagued Sense since its beginnings. For example, turning the device into landscape orientation will yield tabs on the right, instead of on the bottom to help maximize the amount of content that is displayed on the screen. The old-fashioned bubbly menus will also change to match the Ice Cream Sandwich simplified look with gray sliders and buttons with rounded edges.

Based upon the excellent results that I got with the Opteka macro lens for my Canon A590IS camera (I gave the lens a 5-star rating), I purchased both the Opteka .45x HD2 wide-angle lens and this 2.2x HD2 telephoto lens. The macro lens is superb. The wide-angle lens is a real disappointment. This telephoto lens is good, but not superb.
This telephoto lens comes with front and back friction-fit lens caps, an adaptor that allows the lens to be mounted on the camera, and a little drawstring bag in which to store the lens when it is not mounted on the camera. To use this lens on the A590 camera, you first remove a decorative metal ring (a bezel) from around the camera’s built-in lens. The Opteka adaptor is clicked into place on the camera where the bezel was removed by means of a twist and click bayonet mount. The telephoto lens is then screwed onto the front of the adaptor. The front of the telephoto lens is threaded to permit the use of filters, if desired.

1) do the bigger the lens number mean the farther it can zoom? (ex: like a deer you don't want to get too close to but want a good shot of?
Hondo is right, that camera is not a DSLR.
1) That's basically correct, although when it comes to buying a particular lens the speed is often the most important (the wider the aperture, the faster the lens and the higher the price.

Samsung is unleashing an unworthy successor and one that makes Chromebook less appealing than the original -- seeing as v1 isn't enough and the new one isn't much more than a new MacBook-like enclosure and speedier processor. Samsung practically hid the thing, during an event of otherwise big, big announcements from the South Korean electronics giant. Specs are otherwise the same, or seem to be based on the little info released by Samsung. The specs are largely unchanged from the original. Disappointment is my reaction to the new offering, which, regrettably doesn't temp me back to using a Chromebook. My bigger concern is performance, to which Tim dismally responded: "The difference in handling is imperceptible". I asked my colleague Tim Conneally, who got up close to the new Chromebook in this video , for his reaction. System memory is still 2GB and the processor is less crappy. Ok, so I'm on the market for a new camera, and the new Canon 880IS came out, but all the reviews I read say its basically the same thing as the 870IS. Does anyone have experience with both and can describe your experience?
