I used this fabulous range finder this weekend, even though this is my first range finder I hope it will be the only one I will ever need. This range finder works awesome, I used it to find the range of a mountain Billy Goat on top of a rock next to a tree 685 yards away with a 20 degree up angle. There are many features to learn as I am in the learning stage with this device. Like all new technology it takes time to master. I am looking forward to many more years of use with the RX-IV B&C. Being this is my first Leupold purchase I am looking forward to updating my scope to a leupold with B&C to complement the range finder. More updates to come as I triumph over technology. I can not think of…

The VX-6 riflescope from Leupold features a 6:1 zoom ratio, Xtended Twilight Lens System for clean, crisp sight picture from dusk to dawn as well as DiamondCoat 2 scratch resistant coating. The VX-6 is the new and improved VX-7 and is now the flagship scope from Leupold. One major improvement is a crystal clear picture throughout the zoom. Whereas many scopes lose some clarity in the mid-range powers, the VX-6 maintains that high end clarity customers expect from Leupold rifle scopes. Pop-up finger adjustable turrets are interchangeable with the exposed CDS turrets, (1 CDS dial included) that allow you to quickly dial your elevation to different ranges matching your specific ballistic information. - Magnification: 2x-12x - Objective: 42mm - Reticle: Boone & Crocket

Defense Review - Remington Military Rebuilding/Refurbishing U.S. ...
DefenseReview (DR) has received the following article-format history on the Remington M24 Sniper Weapon System sniper rifle, the XM2010 sniper rifle program, and the Remington M24 Commercial Recapitalization/25th Anniversary Sales Program to Honor Military Veterans . It’s DR’s understanding that the document/content below was composed by Trevor Shaw, Director of Defense Programs at Remington Military .
It’s a good read and, in Defense Review’s opinion, the M24 rebuild/recapitalization program is a pretty darn good idea. Remington Arms is of course, at its core, a bolt-action rifle company, so this program will play to that core strength. DR thinks its great that the M24 rifle rebuild program will give purchasers the opportunity to own a piece of military history that also happens to be a great firearm. And, the M24 he/she gets will maintain the original camouflage pattern or paint scheme the military operator/sniper applied to it for combat use. Pretty cool.
This scope had very "crude" 1 and 2 MOA adjustments compared to the 1/8 moa, 1/4 moa, and. 1 mil (right around 1/3 moa) adjustments found on current scopes. The M91/30 PU sniper variant still remains the most produced sniper rifle ever fielded, all with a 3. 5 power scope with no ranging capabilities built into the reticle, and the accuracy standard was 5 The old British L42A1 sniper rifle was topped with the Mk32 scope. A little fish can eat a big fish, but only by taking many bites. The 1903A4 sniper variant was aimed using the "holdover method" by many GIs....

Burris FastFire Red-Dot Reflex Sight - No Mount ( 4 MOA Dot Reticle) Review
I have a ton of different sights, including an expensive Leupold Deltapoint. While the device shows no signs of disintegrating like some cheaper sights (its mounted on a SIG 556, so it gets a real pounding) the problem is the red dot itself. I briefly had the sight mounted on a pistol. My impression is that the auto dim feature is set to too dim when used in lower light conditions like an indoor range. This did not work well at all since with the outstretched arm the dot was even harder to see. Read in some forums that outside in the bright sunlight no problem.

The prices for both the leupold vx 2 and the FX-II scopes are approachable and compete very well on the market. The powers offered are 2. The FX-II scopes are very nice fixed-power riflescope for somebody who likes simplicity and durability. FX-twos, being fixed-power scopes, are also tremendous in the eye-relief they have—huge and permanent, not an insignificant thing for any hunter. It is hard to mention anything bad about these scopes.
