Need advice on two Olympus prime lens?
Trying to decide between two lens for my Olympus E-520:
the Zuiko 35mm F3.5 Macro Lens OR a Zuiko ED 25mm F2.8 lens.
I had a Canon XT and was real pleased with a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens I had with it...

What are your expectations?
My guess is you already have the 14-42 mm lens and just want a macro for copying documents and small items.
I looked on the Olympus site and the 25 mm f/2.8 lens is sort of an unusual lens.

For myself, I knew ahead of time that this lens was going to be overtly longer than the kit lens and thus I was prepared for it. Furthermore, since the 14-42mm kit lens, although smaller, is not a very compact lens like the 17mm pancake, the EP-1... * Size: As most reviews of this lens have noted, it's obviously longer than the 14-42mm Olympus kit lens. If that's the case (and it is with me), having the EP-1 with the 14-150mm is no big deal because it's still compact enough to still fit in my case and it's certainly light weight. Thus, I would need to carry the EP-1 + 14-42mm in a case etc. when you do so, you'll think silently ". hum, this is a bit longer than I thought it would be. "But depending on your expectations / purposes for this lens, it may or may not matter....

The quality of the lens is very good, I am sure that the Zuiko 12-60 is better, but for the price this is one of the best lenses around, easily competing with more expensive ones. It has some flare problems, but for me they are ok, since I have always tried to produce flare in some situations and with this lens is somewhat easier that with other lenses.
